Easter Sunday: Worship & Parade
Dear friends & members of St. Matt's,
Here's the thing. I really miss you. And I think you miss each other. And I don't want to let Easter go by without us finding some way to share some joy together. Here's a bit of crazy idea.
On Easter Sunday, join us for worship online. A lovely, festive musical prelude will begin at 9:30am. Our worship will begin at 10:00am. And then you're invited to join us for a bit of a (very safe) celebration. Read below to find out more. As always, be in touch if you have any questions. God loves you, and so do I.
Faithfully,
--Marissa +
The whole congregation is invited to drive through the parking lot between 1:30pm and 2pm on Easter Sunday. When you do that (slowly and carefully), you'll be able to wave at your Priest - and more importantly - at the Easter Bunny. Circle a few times. Come in our entrance, drive down the lot, go out our exit. Then come back around once or twice. In the process, you might also get to wave at some other friends and neighbors of yours. And maybe we'll have another surprise or two. Here's the important safety piece: everyone must stay in their cars and keep the windows rolled up. We need to comply with all safety ordinances and not put anyone at risk, so please, stay in the car, keep the windows rolled up. After you've waved and said a safe hello, go home and enjoy the rest of your day.
