Colgate University Chamber Singers

We are lucky to have the opportunity to host the Colgate University Chamber Singers for a stop on their 2023 New England choir tour. Their concert will be on Monday, January 16th (MLK day) at 7:00pm. If you have the day off work/school, consider this as a great way to spend the evening! The concert is unticketed and free to attend; a free-will offering will be taken at the end.

Colgate Chamber Singers is a select student choral ensemble that specializes in the performance of a cappella choral music at the highest level. This chamber choir, which numbers between 12 and 24 singers each season, performs a broad musical repertoire, from music of the Renaissance, to African American spirituals, to music composed in the 21st century. In addition to performing in concert with Colgate University Chorus, the Chamber Singers performs in concert on its own, including at the annual Lessons & Carols service each December and at Colgate athletic events. Colgate Chamber Singers has collaborated with Grammy-nominated ensembles such as NY Polyphony and The Crossing and have also performed as an opening act for celebrities and dignitaries, including Aretha Franklin and President Joe Biden.

See you on Monday, January 16th at 7:00pm!
