St. Matthew's organist and music director, Andrew Leslie Cooper, will present a recital of music by Bach, Howells, Price, Lefébure-Wély, Andrée, and more. On staff at St. Matthew's since 2021, Andrew is a British-American conductor, organist, countertenor, and music educator who has been active in the professional music spheres on both sides of the Atlantic. During the COVID lockdowns, Andrew attracted attention online following his virtual, multitrack productions of Pearsall's Lay a garland, Purcell's Sound the trumpet, and Tallis' 40-voice masterpiece, Spem in alium. These videos, which are found on his website, were also featured on BBC News.
