The Arts at St. Matthew’s

Our concert series, The Arts at St. Matthew’s, provides artistic enrichment to the local community, both those who regularly worship at St. Matthew’s and those who don’t. It offers entertaining, educational, and inspiring events by diverse artists a handful of times throughout the year. Funding for The Arts at St. Matthew’s comes from ticket sales and from the generous support of patrons. All proceeds from the series go directly into the advancement and enhancement of subsequent seasons.

Artists who have appeared in past seasons include Dave Brubeck, The Brubeck Brothers Quartet, Stephen Schwartz, Judy Collins, Ken Cowan, Jerry Hadley, Joshua Henry, Chanticleer, Liz Callaway, Maureen McGovern, the American Boychoir, Time For Three, Sweet Honey in the Rock, the Girls Choir of Harlem, the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, The Manhattan Choral Ensemble, Westminster Chapel Choir, Alec McCowen, Doc Watson, Paul Winter and the Paul Winter Consort, as well as many other established and emerging artists.
