Eucharistic Visitor Training
Part of our Pastoral Care work at St. Matt’s is taking communion to those members who can’t be with us in person. This is a really important ministry. It supports our members who are homebound and it draws us more near to each other and to God as we share communion.
In order to participate in this ministry, you'll need to become part of a group that meets quarterly to share this spiritual work. If you're not already part of the Pastoral Care Team, you'll need to do Safe Church Training and consent to a Background Check before you can visit anyone. The Pastoral Care Team is a group of committed folks who are trained in the art of spiritual listening. For questions about this growing team, you can reach out to Pam Ely or Beth Baker.
Come learn how to be a Eucharistic Visitor and share the gifts of God’s table with other members of our community. Even if you're not sure - come see if the Spirit moves you.
