News about the Evening of Giving: We are blessed.
The faith, hope, and love of this parish never ceases to amaze. Thanks to the selfless matching gift from the Wyman Family and your generous sharing of your gifts, we are happy to report that our Evening of Giving last Saturday night was a smashing success. The combination of proceeds from the silent auction and cash “holler” donations added up to approximately $65,000, well above what we budgeted for the auction this year.
We will provide you with final numbers in a couple weeks during our regularly scheduled update to the parish. In the meantime, if you were unable to join us last Saturday night but would still like to give toward the Evening of Giving, you can donate at stmatthewswilton.org/holler. If you are inspired by the generosity of others, you can still be part of this wonderful and generous moment.
Special thanks go to our Auction Chairs: Jennifer & Brian Angerame and Colin & Jessica Christ - thank you so much for your hard work! And if you haven't seen it yet, take a look at this video of many of you passing the peace! Thanks to Jen Kepner for compiling this video and to all of you who sent your pictures in!
Also, stay tuned for additional details on the Father’s Day basket later in the week!
Thank you all, once again, for making our Evening of Giving an overwhelming success. We are blessed.
