Annual Meeting 2020: February 2nd following 9:00 am worship
Our 2020 Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020.
We will all worship together at one service at 9:00am and then proceed right into the Annual Meeting. For this special day, the Vestry will provide hospitality - so we'll have a hearty coffee hour to help get you through the extended time together. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us!
Never been to an Annual Meeting before?
The Annual Meeting is an important part of being Episcopalian. We are the most democratically structured church in the world - which means that YOU have a vote if you are a member of the parish. At the Annual Meeting, the Rector, Wardens, and other Officers of the parish report on the year that has passed and lay the groundwork for the year that is coming. We review the budget, elect new Vestry members and Officers, and tackle other meaningful work together.
The Annual Meeting is really an opportunity for the whole community to tell our story, to order our priorities, to engage in meaningful relationships. We are part of God's story, part of the story of the Church universal, and part of the story of the Episcopal Church here in the United States and in Connecticut. This meeting situates us in our community, in the midst of the story God is writing with us. Please join us. Be a part of our story.
