Pub Theology - September
Save the date for Pub Theology in September.
Please plan to join us for a special edition of Pub Theology focused on our Summer Read, Barking to the Choir. We'll talk about the radical kinship we share with Jesus and with each other. As always, questions and location will come out a few days in advance, but for now save the date!
September 18th
7:00pm
If you haven't been to Pub Theology before, here's what you need to know:
We sit at tables in small groups and answer questions together, sharing our stories. The questions are designed so that there are no right or wrong answers (really!). And the one rule of Pub Theology is that you come willing to tell a real story that matters to you about your life and your faith, and then once you've had a chance to share, you make room for others to share their story, too. It's okay for us and our stories to not always agree and not always match up. What we share at Pub Theology is sacred time and sacred space. We talk for about an hour about the subject of the day, and then you're free to stay and socialize longer if you'd like.
The questions come out via e-mail a few days in advance, so you have a little time to think about it. Sometimes they come with a few passages to read or images to consider. The location is announced that way, too - and on our website.
