Evening Prayer for All Saints Day, Friday, November 1st at 6:30pm
All Saints Day is one of the most important feasts of the Church. It is a day when we give thanks for the lives and stories of the Saints who have gone before us. And it is a day when we remember that God calls us to be saints, too.
For generations, All Saints Day has been a time when we pray specifically for those in the parish family who have died in the last year. And more recently, it has become a day when we remember and give thanks for all those whom we love but see no longer.
Come to this special Evening Prayer for All Saints Day and bring with you a token and/or a photo of someone (or someones) that you love and can no longer see in this life. Woven into our liturgy will be a time to remember, grieve, and give thanks for these Saints and saints of God who are now part of the Great Cloud of Witnesses (Hebrews 12:1).
If you wish to add someone to the list of people for whom we will pray, please e-mail the Parish Office.
