Episcopal 101: An Introduction (or Refresher!) to the Episcopal Church
Are you new or new-ish to the Episcopal Church? Or maybe you've been here a while but still have questions? Join us for 4 sessions of Episcopal 101. All are welcome - no matter how long or short a time you've called the Episcopal Church home - or if you aren't sure yet if it feels like home.
In four sessions, we'll explore the faith, history, structure, and practices of the Episcopal Church. The foundation for our time together will be based on the book Walk in Love: Episcopal Beliefs and Practices by Scott Gunn and Melody Wilson Shobe. You can purchase the book on Amazon by clicking here.
Our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Ian Douglas will be with us on May 31st, 2020 for Confirmations and Receptions. Adults who have not been Confirmed or Received into the Episcopal Church can be welcomed into the Church after participating in this series. Episcopalians can also reaffirm their commitment to their faith as adults in the presence of the Bishop - so no matter how long you've been Episcopalian, if the Spirit moves you, you might consider that option. Questions about any of that? Or if you need financial or technical aid purchasing the book, please email Marissa.
Save the date for the series and for Bishop Ian's visit now!
